Welcome to Fòir Ltd (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
Fòir Ltd is an online marketplace that allows individuals and businesses (“Service Providers”) to register and promote their services, and allows users (“Customers”) to search for and connect with those services. We are not a party to any contract between Service Providers and Customers and do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or fitness for purpose of any services.
If applicable, fees (e.g., subscription, listing, or transaction fees) will be disclosed before purchase. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors; by paying, you agree to their terms and privacy notices. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Content and materials provided by Fòir Ltd (including software, logos, text, and graphics) are our intellectual property or that of our licensors. You may not use them without permission. You retain rights to content you upload but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, display, and distribute such content for operating and promoting the Platform.
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use personal data. Where applicable, we process personal data in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant the accuracy or reliability of listings or the performance or conduct of Service Providers or Customers. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fòir Ltd and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages; loss of profits, revenue, data, or business; or any damages related to interactions between Service Providers and Customers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fòir Ltd, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time where we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, applicable law, or our policies. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, the following will survive: Sections 7–13 and any provisions that by their nature should survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (e.g., by email or a notice on the Platform). Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts where required by consumer protection law.
