- Messages are encrypted at rest (e.g., AES-256) to protect them from unauthorized access and are decrypted only when delivered via API response so that intended recipients can read them.
- Other personal data (name, location, address, email) is encrypted at rest and decrypted only when returned to the frontend to provide and operate the service.
- All data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected with HTTPS/TLS encryption.
4. Data Retention
- Messages between users are retained for up to 2 years to support user interactions and safety measures.
- Other personal data is retained as long as you maintain an account or as required by law.
